Orpheus and the Penultimate Proofread

Going over it after Louise Bohmer's excellent copy-editing. It still makes me all sniffly in parts!

Still on schedule for it to have its debut at the World Horror Convention in March!

Also waiting for Dr. Phil Cary to tell me whether it really is a "Platonist horror/romance" as I tried to convince him it was. I'll let you know if he agrees.

Hi, Kim. I've read your Dying to Live and really enjoyed it -- a nice change from the usual. I'm looking forward to Orpheus and the Pearl.

I'll be at the WHC 2008 and hopefully I can meet you, get you to sign a copy and we can chat about the Catholic influence in Wise Blood or Everything Rises Must Converge.

Thank you for the very nice props, Kim! :) I really enjoyed "Orpheus and the Pearl." I loved your character development, and being a huge Hammer horror fan, your atmosphere was sublime. Now, I've got Karen's "Slayer" to dig deeper into, then Monkey Love, and then I'll crack open Dying to Live.

Take care, Kim! I have to get more supplies for bookmarks, but I'm snowed in again, in March! So, hope to have then out to you very soon.

Louise

Thanks, Louise! I was glad I could something out there that's a little less zombie-ish. No offense to the undead hordes, but I'd like people to see a different side of my writing and thought, and this made a nice addition.
