Yes, I check them incessantly (as I suspect all small press authors do). I like it when my four best selling titles all bump up at the same time like this afternoon:

D2L2 at 12,000th
History Is Dead at 5000th (one of its highest points)
D2L at 6000 (still going strong)
Gospel of the Living Dead at 96,000th (usually around 150,000th after it's first year of sales)
